Electric Daisy Carnival was amazing. Over 90,000 people. WOW

I have some skin dermatitis on my scalp. Great! :0 oh well.

I am going to Lake Havasu this weekend and Laughlin the weekend after that.

I tried to pass the CSET in June and I received a 215 on the test. 220 is the passing score (GRRR). I'm signed up for the July test. GREAT :(

Sourdough bread is so good.

I did 30 hard hard minutes on the ski machine today. Woo! Also did baby benchpress and the dip machine to work my arms. Eeekkk. I am tired.

Also, I found a store that sells shoes in my size!

Life is fine, just slow. One more week before vacation.

Weekend's almost over [Oct. 5th, 2008|10:35 am]
Friday: took a long nap after work as I had to get up at 5am and be at work at 6am to coach waterpolo. I was only surviving on sugar-donut, double expresso shot, candy, cookies, brownies....yeah! Came home and crashed. After, played rock band for the first time and had fun. I am not that good at guitar/bass as both my hands don't like to communicate to one another.
Saturday: woke up at 6am to go get donuts and work gloves. Had to be at Tustin stadium at 7am. I signed our JCL club at school...of which I am the advisor (I changed that relative clause to be correct, as you are not supposed to have "of" at the end of any sentence...omg I am awesome),

*** I took a 20 minute break to talk about my flight to San Antonio with my mom, search out a mother of pearl watch online that I just ordered, and since my credit card was conveniantly located next to me, I bought Shadow a shelf to sit by the window and look out... money spent fast***

Back to Saturday....so my brother and his friends and I went to the Stadium to meet up with some of my dedicated students (whom I bribed), and we cleaned up the stadium in 1.5 hours. YAY. Then I came home and passed out for an hour, then went to my aunt's birthday party at Red Lobster. After all that... at about 5pm, my father and I drove down to Costa Mesa to the IKEA there. AMAZINGLY, I drove his truck stick-shift all the way there without stalling... there was alot of bumpy-off road style rocking, but it was ok. I bought a nice lounge chair to put in my room with matching footstool, a mirror, a teacup with saucer, and a new shadow toy! I love the area I have created in my room, on which I am now sitting (another relative clause right there). Went to the gym and ran ran ran...

Today is Sunday: I slept in, had chips and guacamole for breakfast, and am tired once again. I should be grading papers or going to the gym again, but I might just lay down for another "rest".

SAN ANTONIO next weekend... Thursday actually.

Going to bed early tonight as I have morning practice.. barf!

OH, and I STILL can't fit into my jeans.

I really enjoy the White Gold commericals.

I really hate hearing about people being afraid of coyotes and wanting to shoot them all down. You can't watch your kids close enough that a coyote drags them off? Hmm, don't let your pets out at night. FIGURE IT OUT PEOPLE.

4 day weekend [Sep. 3rd, 2008|09:41 pm]
I have a four day weekend October 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th... due to a Jewish holiday. Almost no one at our school is Jewish, but if they want to put floating holidays there, GREAT! I love 4 day weekends.

So, I think I want to go to Texas to visit a couple people. Not sure how big Texas is, but I want to see Adrian, possibly an old professor, and maybe another friend I met online. NO clue about prices etc, but I think I should use the 4 day weekend wisely. Anywhere else I should travel to instead?

ginger bits [Sep. 1st, 2008|10:42 pm]
I am really not sure why the English have anything against Ginger people. They are nice and sexy.

I watched Driving Lessons with Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and it was good.

First day of school is Wednesday. Sometimes I wish I was back in college again and that was all I had to worry about.

I also wish my emotions were really in my heart instead of in my brain. It would be so much easier I think.

Journal [Aug. 21st, 2008|11:26 pm]
I found my Jane Austen journal. I thought I had lost it, but after 4 months of not having it, I have finally found it. It was under my brothers bed with a myrad of other oddities.

Erin, this is the journal I bought when we went to Camden market with Deanie the first time I went to England.

The quote on the front has a truckload of 1920's women and has in script "If adventures will not befall a young lady in her own village, she must seek them abroad."

Happy I found it. Not Happy that I can't stop eating.
